Short update on our planning for our flat!
Had a quick discussion with Saliheen's brother on what to do and not to do for our future renovations last Sunday, and I am super loving the 3D drawings he very kindly did for us using Google Sketchup! Very grateful for his guidance and thankful for a brilliant brother-in-law who is willing to lend us his expertise. Hehe.
So after all our discussions, it does seem like we might not need to engage an ID after all! What we do need, though, is to start sourcing for contractors and materials etc because we have been SITTING ON OUR ASSES. Lol.

We really like this living room designed by Artistroom and have been using it loosely as reference, but from the discussion it seems like we're leaning towards a Scandinavian feel for our future home? Majorly inspired by these!

Our space won't be as huge as the ones in the above images, of course, but we're hoping we can capture the feel and essence of these spaces, at least!
Wow I loooove that home above!
ReplyDeleteSuper gorgeous, right?!?!!! And so spacious T.T
DeleteAll the more u shud engage contractor cos u have an in-house ID already. So convenient you can have ur visuals on drawings without having to pay extra feesss
ReplyDeleteyeah! we really would like the convenience that comes with having an ID but since his brother can help us with some parts, we decided - what the heck, let's just try and wing this. the only issue is that his brother is flying back to London today so we'll only get to communicate with him via phonecalls and emails. hopefully that will work out fine :/
Deleteoooooh thank you so so much!!!
