Achievement Unlocked: House Keys Collected!

Macam dah collect kunci je! Macam dah dapat rumah je!

Hehehehehe. It was ~quite~ the first time experience for us but it's actually simple lah if you just follow the instructions contained in the HDB letter for key collection.

You can skip the next part if you're already a homeowner and/or collected your keys but just a rough idea on what to expect if you're still waiting for your HDB letter and want to know what will happen on key collection day.

Konstruction Khronicles: Almost There

Saliheen and I (and my family) visited our BTO for the first time last Saturday!

We don't have our keys yet so we could only check out the corridors, the letterbox, the multi-storey carpark and other facilities but it was enough to get us excited! 

So far so good, we're really loving our little corner (away from lifts and rubbish chute, just the way we like it) the facilities look good and the multi-storey carpark is spacious and near our lift landing. 

Anyway, I know I've been pretty whiny about still not getting our keys, you guys, but that's because myHDBpage has been showing our key collection date as "end September" for sometime now! Previously it was end August k. 

Honestly I don't mind getting our keys a little later than predicted but the first week of September has already passed and we still haven't gotten a fixed date?! You can give us the last day of September as our key collection date for all I care, as long as it is fixed. Some people need to know in advance to make the necessary arrangements like leave application, you know! 

And then there are people like me who have to plan their lives one month in advance or else they start getting restless and agitated. Lawlz

Restlessness does not go well for people like me because we start to do very bo liao things... like this defects checklist for new HDB flats! It's not something new - I lifted the checklist from here (You can also Google for other versions) and did a few tweaks to meet my own preference.

Now all I really need is an actual HDB unit to check for actual defects wtf

Okay lah, I don't want to whine already lah! You penat baca, I pun penat nak cakap lagi. Will only be back with BTO updates once kita ada the keys in our hands! I'm also thinking of vlogging the whole renovation process... tengoklah kalau kuasa.

Because I have finally given a damn about how my future home will look like hahahahaha Saliheen is SO gonna roll his eyes at me for this.

Rumah Oh Rumah

I forget that the reason why I decided to blog shorter entries is because I want to update more often.

Often habes siol ni.

But honestly lah kan, I haven't been updating much because things have been pretty calm and uneventful lately. I do know that this quiet period will only last sampai Ramadhan, though - the week before Hari Raya will be crazy with preparations, my first Raya visiting as a wife should be a mad riot, and then sometime after Raya, we're already expecting to dapat our rumah...

... because kita dah submit the last batch of documents to HDB and got our HLE approved last month:
